VIBES is a project, supported by Creative Europe, by movement artist Masako Matsushita together with taiko artist Mugen Yahiro, with the collaboration of Xavier Boissarie and Tomek Jarolim for the digital creation part.

VIBES protocol #3 is an explorative choreographic audio experience that guides through different body states and diverse soundscapes. The journey will bring participants to re-connect mind and body, creating awareness and expand the senses through the support of an external input and the people in close surrounding.

This choreography and sound exploration activates a perceptive body through a given urban space, from intimacy and individuality to common pathways and collective belonging.

Masako Matsushita, Italian-Japanese choregrapher and artist, works on the analysis of movement through research processes, choreography and dance, performance installations and social experiments.
She explores the presence of the body in space with the aim of generating architectures for socialisation through senses, scores, maps and ways of looking.
Masako collaborates closely with the CSC Centro per la Scena Contemporanea in Bassano del Grappa, participating in international projects such as “Dancing Museums – The Democracy of Being”.
