NID – New Italian Dance Platform<\/strong> is a project aimed at supporting the\u00a0best Italian dance production.
\nNID was started in 2012 by a number of institutions in the field of dance distribution, the Ministry of Culture, and several\u00a0local institutions. It\u00a0connects Italian dance companies and stakeholders\u00a0at national and international level, creating a dialogue between production and distribution; thus giving a higher profile to the artistic quality of the Italian scene, respecting the diversity of languages and poetries at the same time.<\/p>\nThe next edition will be held in Reggio Emilia<\/strong> from October 10 to 13, 2019<\/strong>.
\nOne of the novelties of this edition will be the Open Studios<\/em> section, a presentation space for shows that have not yet debuted: an opportunity for artists to develop their research, gather ideas and exchange views with professionals in the sector.
\nThe shows and Open Studios<\/em> will be selected by an artistic commission composed by Lanfranco Cis, Christophe Galent, Daniele Sepe, Steriani Tsintziloni, Gerarda Ventura and Catherine J. Wang.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
