My company zero visibility have performed there twice, earlier year on the Fabbrica Europa festival.<br \/>\nI wanted to come back and do \u201csomething\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cCan you do something site specific?\u201d Yes I can try\u2026<br \/>\nSo I have chosen some Italian dancers, who will perform together with two dancers from zero visibility, and we will try to make an athmosphere of possibilities, searching for a start, using the group of dancers like a tide, washing the shore again and again, and each speaking their own personal language, from the body and mind \u2013 the thinking body.<\/p>\n<p>Ina Christel Johannessen<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>One of the most interesting choreographers in the Northern European artistic scene, the Norwegian Ina Christel Johannessen, gives shape to <strong>Il luned\u00ec<\/strong>, a site-specific creation designed for the Alcatraz space of the Stazione Leopolda.<br \/>\nTwo dancers of her company zero visibility corp work together with some Italian performers to create a work which aims to involve young local artists in international projects.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Ina Christel Johannessen<\/strong> is a pioneer. With her company <strong>zero visibility corp<\/strong> she thrills audiences worldwide. She is a choreographer who through her art and experience is as capable of charming audiences as she is of making them alert. Ina\u2019s choreographies explore opposites that are constantly changing, and her work is full of both energy and poetry. Since they began touring internationally in 2003, the company has been invited to Sydney Opera House, Sadler\u2019s Wells in London, Place Des Arts in Montreal, Mercat de Flores in Barcelona, Movimentos in Wolfsburg and Belgrade Dance festival. The sought-after Johannessen additionally works for companies such as Ballet de Monte Carlo, CCDC Hong Kong, Cullberg Ballet, Gothenburg Opera Dance Company, Iceland Dance Company, Helsinki Dance Company, Oldenburg Tanz Theatre, Scottish Dance Theatre and Royal Swedish Ballet. The close relationship with Carte Blanche in Bergen has also been significant, resulting in 14 full-evening works to date. Ina received the Critics Award in 2008 for <em>Ambra<\/em>, created for Carte Blanche and Iceland Dance Company.<br \/>\nIn February 2019 Johannessen had a premier with <em>Rites Of Spring<\/em>, a creation for The Norwegian National Opera and Ballet and in September 2019 another premiere with Australian Dance Theatre.<br \/>\nJohannessen\u2019s work is characterized by high energy in the physical movements merged with very poetic and often theatrical elements. She is very much involved in and cooperating on the creating of visual elements such as lighting and scenography, which play crucial parts of her work as a whole.
