The Malian star Oumou Sangar\u00e9<\/strong>\u00a0is one of the stars of the next edition of the Festival au D\u00e9sert Firenze 2022.<\/p>\n

On September 23<\/strong>, 2022<\/strong> (h 21:00<\/strong>, Teatro Puccini<\/strong>, Via delle Cascine 41) Florence will meet the solar depths of her voice and her music. A music that launches a message of freedom and hope for all the peoples and cultures of her land and that today becomes a song for all women, children and men of the world.<\/p>\n

Oumous Sangar\u00e9\u2019s career and recordings remained branded by these two salient dimensions: being a woman and coming from a social background that made her singularly sensitive to all forms of injustice.
\nNow, she makes her return with the album \u201cTumbuktu,\u201d out on April 29 on World Circuit.<\/p>\n

From Timbuktu to Florence<\/strong>
\nThe Festival au D\u00e9sert Firenze was born in 2010 from the collaboration between the Festival au D\u00e9sert (Mali) and the Fondazione Fabbrica Europa, and works to host the great names of world music and make known the best of current music, in particular from Mali, North Africa, the Mediterranean and the Middle East, in open dialogue with the ambassadors of international artistic \u201cnomadism\u201d.<\/p>\n
