If there is no sun<\/strong> is a creation that comes from the collaboration between the choreographer Irene Russolillo<\/strong>, the video artist Luca Brinchi<\/strong> and the Italian-Liberian musician and performer Karima DueG<\/strong> together with the dancers Antoine Danfa<\/strong>, Mapate Sakho<\/strong> (Senegal) and Ilyes Triki<\/strong> (Tunisia).<\/p>\n

This project was born in 2020 as part of CRISOL \u2013 creative processes<\/em>, a project designed by a network of Italian and international organisations and created to promote opportunities of meeting and co-creation between Italian and international artists.<\/p>\n

Fractures open up in languages when speaking about Africa and Europe, about bodies-territories and borders that oppress. We try to share dreams and desires. And a sense of strangeness. We would like to see our rights recognized and free ourselves from our ghosts. On land and sea, among other creatures, a new community emerges from its state of invisibility. And it embarks on a struggle that is a discourse and a journey, in which the environment changes due to corrosion and blurring.<\/p>\n
