Olimpia Fortuni, dancer and choreographer, graduated from the Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi in Milan and from the two-year “Scritture per la danza contemporanea” directed by Raffaella Giordano. Since 2014, she has embarked on her own path as a choreographer, presenting her creations at numerous festivals in Italy and abroad. An associated artist of Sosta Palmizi and interpreter of the works of established choreographers such as Ambra Senatore, her research is based on the study of time as a quality of movement and the observation of the relationship between man, nature and animal. Her most recent creations are X<\/em> and Fine<\/em>, both in collaboration with sound artist Katatonic Silentio.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

As an independent researcher her practice moves between sound and performing arts. Her deep interest in cultural insights, combined with a strong passion for music, has led her to approach the world of sound with a sociological and anthropological methodology. Pierandrea Rosato (1994) is a dancer and choreographer based in Venice. A black belt in Karate, he graduated in modern dance from Folkwang University of the Arts. He danced in the FTS company, as a guest for the Tanztheater Wuppertal. He is currently enrolled in the master’s degree in “Theatre and Performing Arts” at the Iuav University of Venice. He has presented his creations at art festivals in Europe. In 2023 he won the Anghiari Dance Hub grant for the creation of his piece light leaks from a black moon<\/em> and was selected for the Vetrina della nuova dance d’autore-Anticorpi XL in Ravenna with his solo piece Infieri<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Born in England and raised in Italy, he approached dance and theater after studying Philosophy and Oriental Languages, working as a performer since 2013 for the Italian companies Sosta Palmizi, for which he has been an associate artist since the same year, and Atacama. He was among the founders of the theater group Caravan in Rome. Since 2015 he has been a performer in Romeo Castellucci’s creations, >Moses und Aron<\/em>, for the Paris Op\u00e9ra and Teatro Real in Madrid, and Tannh\u00e4user <\/em>for the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich and the NHK in Tokyo. Since 2018 he has been working on his own creations. Sarajevo \u2013 la strage dell\u2019uomo tranquillo, his first solo, was a finalist for the Prize Equilibrio 2018, was selected for the Vetrina Anticorpi XL 2018 and was among the \u201940 Winks\u2019 of Aerowaves 2019. He is currently working with Elisabetta Lauro on a new creation project, ZugZwang<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

A design graduate from ISIA in Florence and a student of Modern Literature, Rebecca Lena has been working as a freelance videomaker and photographer since 2015. She has participated in projects such as \u201cGeneration Europe – Youth in Action\u201d, \u201cCascine: con l’Europa al Parco\u201d, \u201cUn’altra Firenze: periferie in cammino\u201d. Among her various experiences, in 2016 she was photographer and videomaker of Campus della Musica (Florentine hub of emerging music with artistic producer Claudio Fabi). She collaborated as a videomaker artist with Heine Avdal and Yukiko Shinozaki as part of the project \u201cin gaps & patches\u201d developed in Florence as part of the Autunno Fiorentino 2022.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Alessandra Cozzi was born in Milan where she graduated as a dancer from the Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi studying and performing for Olivier Dubois, Julie Anne Stanzak, Elie Tass. She took part in Qohelet<\/em> by Fred Santambrogio presented at Teatro Franco Parenti in Milan. She worked as dancer and performer for Gruppo Nanou in the new production Paradiso (Bozzetto 001)<\/em>. In collaboration with Marta Bevilaqua of the Arearea company she created Concrezioni<\/em>, a site-specific performance staged at the Cava Romana in Aurisina (a duet with sculptor Lucia Amitrani). She is currently part of Pablo Ezequiel Rizzo’s Voluptas company for which she is a performer in the show Albatros<\/em> and is working for the new production Sex.exe<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

A dance graduate of the Pier Lombardo Academy in Milan, Rachele Montis has taken part in several productions of the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari and the Opera Royal de Wallonie in Liege, working with directors and choreographers such as Micha Van Hoecke, Davide Livermore, Virgilio Sieni, Christos Papadopoulos, Leo Muscato, and Davide Garattini Raimondi. She has also danced for Antonio Marras, (Mio cuore, io sto soffrendo cosa posso fare per te<\/em>), ASMED Balletto di Sardegna (Heisse Luft, directed by Susanne Linke, with Borderline Danza company), Igor x Moreno (Aragosta<\/em>), gruppo nanou (Xebeche<\/em>). She has been dancer\/performer in Racconti dell’illusione<\/em> by the company Oltrenotte and she has also participated in several film productions by Giovanni Coda and Andrea Vacca. As a freelance dancer she is interested in body language, sharing and contamination of various styles.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Giorgia F. Fiorentini began her involvement in theatre from a very young age, collaborating with La MaMa Umbria International and participating in the training activities offered by the Teatro Stabile dell\u2019Umbria. She attended the National Academy of Dramatic Art Silvio d\u2019Amico, graduating at the end of 2022 with an essay directed by Liv Ferracchiati. In 2023, she was involved in the theatre project Ninnoli<\/em> \u2013 awarded a special mention in Scenario Infanzia 2022, directed by Salvatore Crucitti, a fellow academy member with whom she has developed a strong collaboration. In 2023, she worked on her first performative project, Traum<\/em>, as both an author and a performer.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Born in Livorno and grew up in Sardinia, her background ranges from artistic gymnastics to hip hop, ballet and contemporary dance. Her predisposition to the art of movement led her very early on to search for a personal style. Choreographers such as Silvia Rampelli, Xavier Le Roy, Cristina Rizzo, Adriana Borriello have left an important mark on her path. In 2020 she was at the Biennale Danza College. In 2021 she participated as a performer in the Anghiari Dance Hub and Nao Crea residencies with a project by Silvia Galletti. In 2021, with the study of her work no caption needed<\/em> she won the second award for best choreographic writing at the Cortoindanza festival. In 2022 she began a collaboration with the dance production centre in Sardinia Fuorimargine that supports her in the research of her new work CALL for audience<\/em> in which she is co-creator together with Donatella Martina Cabras. Nunzia Picciallo is a multidisciplinary artist and a certified Gaga teacher. Her creations span between dance, performance, and visual arts and have been presented in Italy, Germany, France, Belgium, Palestine, Israel, Panama, United States, Taiwan. In 2023 she received the 3rd Price Performance at 27th International Solo Tanz-Theater, Stuttgart, followed by a tour in Germany. Selected for the Stray Birds Dance Platform, where she received the SAI Festival and the Masdanza awards, she received as well the Cortoindanza 2023 award for choreography writing. In 2022 she was one the selected artist for the Italian Vetrina della giovane danza d\u2019autore for young choreographers and in 2021 she was the award winner of the Circle contemporary dance contest.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Luca Maino, born in Monza, currently lives in Sansepolcro. His artistic experience began in 2010 when he approached the world of dance. In the theatrical field he trained at the International Theater Academy, where he met Daniele Nucceteli, actor and director, and Pablo Tapia Leyton, dancer and choreographer, fundamental meetings for his artistic growth. Since June 2023 he has been moving throughout Italy to enrich his education. He recently studied and worked with Michela Lucenti, Francesco Villano and Chiara Guidi, masters and interpreters of the Italian scene.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

For the last few years he has been busy doing concerts, teaching, researching and studying the traditional, folk – frame drums and friction drums of Southern Italy and the entire Mediterranean region. He has drawn the attention of contemporary Italian and international composers executing solo scores and improvisations with orchestras, big bands, ensembles of contemporary and electronic music. He has worked with groups and musicians of various nationalities and has performed at festivals and theatres throughout Italy and abroad. Fabio Novembrini trained at the School of the Balletto di Toscana. In 2015 he created his first work, Shelter<\/em>, together with Roberta Racis. In 2017 he became a teacher of Dance Well – movement research for Parkinson’s. In 2018 he collaborated with the choreographer Sang Jijia in the production Re-Mark<\/em> and was selected as a performer for Marina Abramovic’s exhibition \u201cThe Cleaner\u201d at Palazzo Strozzi in Florence. He is also one of the members of Collettivo Mine, a emerging dance collective that was selected for the Aerowaves Platform and Nid Platform, the Italian dance platform, in 2022.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Roberta Racis is a dancer and choreographer. From 2015 to 2018 she danced in Balletto di Roma, directed by Roberto Casarotto, a company for which she created the solo Borders<\/em> in 2017. Since 2017 she has been one of the five dance makers of the European project “Performing Gender” promoted by Yorkshire Dance Leeds, City of Women in Ljubljana, Paso a 2 Certamen Coreografico in Madrid, Theaterfestival Boulevard’s Hertogenbosch, CSC in Bassano and Gender Bender Festival. Her first choreographic creation Shelter<\/em>, made with Fabio Novembrini, was selected for “Vetrina della giovane danza d’autore” by Anticorpi Xl Network in Ravenna. In 2019 she founded, with four other dancemakers, the Mine collective. In 2024 she is presenting her new solo, Atto Bianco<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Dancer, choreographer and teacher, she graduated from the CIMD – International Centre for Movement and Dance, under the artistic direction of Franca Ferrari and continued her training with Sosta Palmizi. In 2015, she created her first solo, IN BETWEEN<\/em> on the topic of gender-based violence. With the support and production of Perypezye Urbane of Milan she had the opportunity to participate in the European project \u201cShare Culture Creative Mobility\u201d in Malta in 2014 and in May 2016 in the European project \u201cROOTS ME\u201d in Berlin. Since 2017 she has been creating the SCIG\u00dcL, a cultural association based in Verbania. A group of young artists, with the desire to create a cultural meeting platform that can be a bridge between art and the territory. In 2017 and 2018 she worked on the Industrial Soundscape<\/em> project that won the CROSS Award 2019 special mention.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Michele Scappa is a dancer and choreographer. He studied as a dancer at Opus Ballet in Florence and then concluded his studies at Northern School of Contemporary Dance, where he achieved a Master in Contemporary Dance Performance. Inside the program VERVE he danced for Hannes Langolf, Sita Ostheimer, Lenka Vagnerova and Matthew Robinson. He then collaborated with different Italian realities such as Kinkaleri, Sofia Nappi, Company Blu, Cie Twain, Gruppo Nanou and Luna Cenere. He took part in the creation INLET<\/em> by Saeed Hani in Germany and he collaborated with Sara Capanna and Barbara Carulli for the development of the project Tracce | Looking for a place to die<\/em>. \n

Federico Torre, graduated in History of Cinema at DAMS in Bologna, during his university years obtained important publications in specialized paper magazines such as Carte di Cinema (Bologna) and Cinergie (Udine) published by Feltrinelli. He collaborated with the Municipality of Chiavari in organizing cultural events, in particular “Il circo dei sogni” in 2019. Passionate about the history of contemporary art, in 2019 he curated an exhibition dedicated to Roberto Altmann at the Museo della Commenda in Genoa. Always interested in holistic disciplines and various religious traditions, in 2022 he made a long in-depth journey to in Madhya Pradesh (India).<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Hemabharathy Palani is an award-winning choreographer and dancer. Based in Bangalore, India, she is one of the most promising young talents in contemporary dance today. Hema is known for her fluidity, musicality, and evocative performances. Her classical training in Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam serve as a base that roots her, whilst she delves into the expressive capabilities of contemporary dance. Hema has travelled to some of the biggest contemporary dance venues including the Barbican Centre (London), Mercat de les Flors (Barcelona) and Critical Path (Sydney). Currently, she is the Rehearsal Director at the Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts in Bangalore, where she also works as a choreographer, performing artist, and teacher.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Sumesh V. M. is a dancer and choreographer who completed his Diploma in Movement Arts & Mixed Media at the Attakalari Centre for Movement Arts in Bangalore in 2007. He worked as a core performer in the same company until 2013, and later embarked on his journey as a freelance performer. He has worked with top-notch artists and choreographers around the globe, including Hiroshi Koike (Japan), Sudesh Adhena (Norway), Philippe Tap (Canada), and Brian Webb (Canada), to name a few. Sumesh has contributed to the creation of different vocabularies of movement and has performed at various national and international festivals, such as the CODA International Festival and the International Theatre Festival.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Pooja Gajanan Kadam is an Indian dancer and yoga instructor who started learning dance at the age of eight and has trained in various forms including Bollywood, Hip-hop, Bharatnatyam, Latin, Belly, Folk, Contemporary dance and Ballet. She has completed her Diploma in Movement Arts and Mixed Media at the Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts. Pooja has conducted community classes and workshops teaching Freestyle, Bollywood, Contemporary Dance and Hip-hop. She has also completed a Yoga Teacher Training Course from Shivananda Dhanvantari Ashram in Kerala. She has participated in many intensive workshops and performed in several prestigious shows and competitions in Pune, Hong Kong, France and Malaysia. She has trained under renowned teachers such as Jose Agudo, Edivaldo Ernesto and David Zambrano.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Shivaranjan NS is a skilled contemporary artist and performer with a rich experience of four years in the field. He has performed on various platforms, including the Asian Athletic Championship and Pro Kabaddi. He has also choreographed various works, including Thala Tamate<\/em> and Chadhara<\/em> that was selected for the Concurso de Choreographia at the TJ Night Festival for Contemporary Art in Tijuana, Mexico. Currently, Dayanand Akhilesh is the Artistic Director of Beru Art Space in Bangalore.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Sigrid Marie Kittelsaa Vesaas from Vinje in Norway trained as a dance artist at the School for Contemporary Dance in Oslo, Norway 2008-2010. She works as a freelance dancer in her own projects and in collaboration with other artists. She recently worked as a performer in projects with choreographers Olive Bieringa and Otto Ramstad, director Ludvig Uhlbors and dance-artist Mina Weider and architect and artist Julie Barfod. And is currently involved as a dance artist in new art projects with film-maker Aleksander Andreassen, choreographer Heidi Jessen, and the artistgroup in The Molecular Ballet. Vesaas has performed with Heine Avdal & Yukiko Shinozaki \/ fieldworks in their project borrowed landscape<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Ingrid Haakstad is working as a dancer based in Oslo. She graduated from Oslo National Academy of the Arts in modern – and contemporary dance in 2010. Ingrid works cocreatively in performances and art projects nationally and internationally, and she has established long- term collaborations with several choreographers\/companies. Heine Avdal and Yukiko Shinozaki fieldworks are among the companies she works most closely with. Other important collaborations are with: Eivind Seljeseth, Janne-Camilla Lyster, Orfee Schuijt, Irene Theisen, Hege Haagenrud, Landing, Kristin Helgebostad and others. She has received several scholarships, including the Statens kunstnerstipend \u2013 work scholarship for younger \/ newly established artists. Born and raised in Macao, he started to learn drama theatre in high school. He has been trained in ballet, Chinese dance, and modern dance with Tao Dance Theater, the National Dance Company of Spain, and Hofesh Shechter Dance Company and at Stella & Artists in Macao. So far he has performed as an actor, a stilt performer, and a dancer. Garcia sees contemporary dance as more than just physical movements. To him, dance is a meditation, a passion, as well as a connection to, and an interaction with, other souls. January Low, born in Kuala Lumpur, started dancing with Classical Ballet, followed by a long Indian Classical dance training in Sutra Dance Theatre, Malaysia, focusing on Odissi. In 2014 she premiered Kuruyadunandan<\/em> at the International Odissi Festival and in 2015 performed at the Georgetown Festival. In 2016 she presented the duet bloom<\/em>, a sold-out success and in 2017 she self-produced, dedicated<\/em>, her first independent solo. In 2018 she was a part of MI(X)G<\/em> directed by Pichet Klunchun, a 2-hour production that she choreographed and performed and was the opening performance for Festival Tokyo. In 2019 she developed reclaim<\/em>. The first phase was shared during Scope#6 at Dance Nucleus, Singapore and then excerpts were presented at Dancebox and ASWARA\u2019s Tari Festival. Er Gao (stage name of He Qiwo) is an independent dancer and choreographer from Guangzhou, China. He is one of the pioneers of dance theatre in mainland China. In 2019 he was selected as the artist in residency by Pro Helvetia. He integrates in his creations multiple media such as dance, video and installation. His works put a great emphasis on discussing genders, identities and sex through body movements and visions. Chamely de la Caridad Hern\u00e1ndez Baquet, born in Cuba in 2005, has shown very early an interest and talent which immediately led her to undertake training in the performing arts and in particular in dance. In 2016, at just 11 years old, she obtained, with a work she created herself, Mulata<\/em> the first prize for interpretation at the International Ballet Festival in the youth category. In 2020 he started attending the National School of Dance Art (ENA). In 2022, with her creation \u00cdndigo<\/em> she obtained the first prize at the Impulso Choreographic Competition. Over the years in Cuba he has actively participated in local, provincial and national festivals, obtaining important awards and reaching the top place in numerous competitions. He is currently part of the music and dance group Neng\u00f3n Im\u00edas as an instrumentalist and vocalist. He is an active member of the Asociaci\u00f3n Hermanos Sa\u00edz (AHS) and collaborates as a vocalist with the prestigious Aroma de Caf\u00e9 group.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

During her bachelor’s degree in dance at UQAM, she participated in productions by Catherine Gaudet and Parts+ Labour_Danse and developed a strong interest in the poetic and political implications of the performing arts. She enriched her background with St\u00e9phanie Decourteille’s BIG BANG training and presented her first piece, Th\u00e9orie Popcorn<\/em>, co-created with Pamela Aub\u00e9.
