fieldworks is an organization based in Brussels that creates, produces, distributes and promotes international artistic works. Since 2000 more than 20 productions were created, which all have been touring internationally. The various productions are concerned with \u201cperformativity\u201d and allow for an open interpretation of movement as a heterogeneous combination of a variety of media. Consequently, the artists draw on a broad range of disciplines and expertise: performance, dance, visual arts, video, music, and technology. Every performance plays on the tension and contrast between the body and objects, the body and the mind, fact and fiction\/representation, the tangible and the invisible, the organic and the artificial. Recurrent themes in the productions include the questioning of the relationship between performer and spectator, the non-hierarchical approach to the various elements of a performance, and the exploration of both theatrical and non-theatrical environments. fieldworks productions are made for a wide variety of locations\/settings, both public and private.

Avdal Produksjoner is a Norwegian organization that creates, produces, promotes and distributes the artistic work of Norwegian artist Heine Avdal. Since 2000 Heine Avdal has been active in the fields of contemporary dance, performance, video and visual arts. For most of his work Avdal has been collaborating with other artists, most notably with Japanese artist Yukiko Shinozaki. Over the years he created and produced more than 20 different performing arts projects. In recent projects, Heine Avdal\u2019s focus has been on the distribution of space. He questions how spatial conventions affect the way we experience and move through private\/public spaces. Considering people\u2019s preconceptions of spatial conventions and through slight shifts, or manipulations he searches for unexpected intersections between different components of a space. In this context, Avdal also questions how technology is being used or, can be used in acquiring new meanings and perceptions on the human body and on our daily surroundings. \n

Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts is the most important contemporary dance organization in India. Attakkalari facilitates the development of contemporary dance scene in India, particularly in the realm of education, training, research, choreography, productions, performances, festivals and stage technologies. As an organization invested in transdisciplinary exchanges and collaborations, Attakkalari has developed strategic global partnerships and produced many international arts projects and events. Stella & Artists, that was founded in 2012, is a contemporary dance company in Macao which aims to pass on the culture of Chinese dance while taking inspirations from our daily lives and incorporating them into dance creation. It endeavors to promote dance education and cultural exchange between Macao and foreign countries. Through active collaboration with different dancers and artists, Stella & Artists enhances dance and cultural development of Macao. Moreover, it is the Macao station of China Dance Courier Stations Network, which connects contemporary dance organizations in 42 China cities to share information and resources. In order to promote the development of dance in Macao, SA hosts \u201cSolo\/Duets Showcase\u201d every year since 2013 to encourage local creations. It is gradually becoming a dance platform that motivates creation and brings local dance works for international exchange. In 2017, \u201cSolos \/ Duets Showcase\u201d has been expanded as \u201cMacao CDE Springboard\u201d. Meanwhile, annual productions are created by inviting outstanding artists and performing groups to enhance the professional level of local dancers.

Dance Nucleus is a space for practice-based research, creative development and knowledge production for independent \/ contemporary performance. The organisation attained charity status in 2021 and is supported under the Major Company Scheme from April 2022 to March 2025. Through its programmes, Dance Nucleus promotes head co-solutions\/collaboration with local organisations and build trans-local partnerships\/networks in Asia and beyond. Its aims and objectives are: to advance dance as a critical, interdisciplinary discipline; to facilitate hybridisation between different artistic forms through discourse and experimentation (EG: SCOPE – informal artist presentation, da:ns LAB – annual artist symposium; to adopt digital and multi-modal means of creating, storing, sharing and presenting information (EG: CIRCUIT – subscription based online repository, VECTOR – presentation platform for experimental works, [CP]3 – online academy); to host artists with progressive research practices for future development in the performing arts.\n

Founded in 2007 as a theater group in which playwright Takahiro Fujita writes and directs all the productions, Mum & Gypsy is not organized as a company but gathers performers and staff for each production. In 2012, at the age of 26, Takahiro Fujita won the Kishida Kunio Drama Award, the most prestigious playwriting award in Japan. Since then, he has been presenting original theatrical works as well as collaborations with writers of other genres. Since 2016, he has been working with Fabbrica Europa on the group’s first international co-production, Il mio tempo – My Time<\/em>. During a tour in Italy, the company had auditions in several cities to meet Italian actors and selected four to create and present the production in Italy and Japan. In 2022, , Mum & Gypsy successfully completed a 9-city tour of the stage adaptation of Machiko Today’s manga “cocoon,” inspired by the young girls mobilized for the Battle of Okinawa at the end of the Pacific War.

Based on the sharing of resources, Art Circulation is an non-profit organization supporting contemporary dance companies (marib\u00e9 \u2013 sors de ce corps, Montr\u00e9al Danse, le Carr\u00e9 des Lombes) and independent artists (Katia-Marie Germain, Audr\u00e9e Juteau, George Stamos and Marc Boivin). Its philosophy is based on sharing of knowledge and resources, in a multigenerational, inclusive and collective perspective. Art Circulation builds bridges between the representation of a creator\u2019s work and the interest of the cultural market\u2019s representatives, as both are parts of the community that cherishes the dialogue surrounding the evolution of dance and movement. Since its founding in 2007, it has represented over 80 works from over 40 choreographers. Art Circulation, with its direction divided between Europe and Canada, is dedicated to create long term, sustainable collaborations and partnerships between two continents and different organizations representing dance and performing arts community. The AHS is a Cuban non-profit organization whose mission is to bring together the young artistic and intellectual vanguard of Cuba. It was born from the merger of three important organizations: the Ra\u00fal G\u00f3mez Garc\u00eda Brigade, which brought together instructors and cultural technicians, with a focus on community work; the Nueva Trova Movement, which brought together talented singer-songwriters in the country; and the Hermanos Sa\u00edz Brigade, made up of young writers and artists. The AHS selectively brings together artists and cultural promoters up to 35 years old, promotes the artistic and literary work of its members inside and outside of Cuba, and encourages artistic and cultural. It also defends creative freedom and the work of its members. Since its founding, the AHS has been growing and demanding new spaces for the empowerment of young people through the arts and the promotion of cultural diversity. Currently, it counts with 3371 members – young artists from all disciplines between the ages of 16 and 35. AHS articulates a system of scholarships, prizes and events that allow young artists to promote their work. It is also part of the mission of the AHS that artistic production reaches the entire island, whether it is small rural towns or vulnerable urban peripheries.
