\nAmong the projects of Fondazione Fabbrica Europa developed within the Estate Fiorentina and consolidated over time since 2010, starting from the relationship with the Festival au D\u00e9sert of Essakane (Timbuktu), the Festival au D\u00e9sert Firenze involves some of the most interesting musicians and groups on the international scene, great masters and young musicians who have established themselves thanks to an energy that dialogues with the mastery of sounds and rhythms of the traditions of origin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunday 21 July<\/strong> at the Chiostro Grande di Santa Maria Novella<\/strong>, in collaboration with Florence Dance Festival, two ancient cultures \u2013 the Indian and the Malian \u2013 on stage with two great masters of percussion: Trilok Gurtu and Aly Keita<\/strong>. Tickets at Ticketone<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the heart of the Cascine Park<\/strong>, in the Prato della Tinaia, on Wednesday 24 July, the Moroccan singer and musician Asmaa Hamzaoui<\/strong>, with her group Bnat Timbouktou<\/strong>, who will give a female version of the ancient Gnawa tradition.
The evening is enriched by the presence of Samba Tour\u00e9<\/strong>, a Malian guitarist, singer and composer with a hypnotic and sunny groove, considered the heir of the legendary Ali Farka Tour\u00e9, father of Desert Blues, with whom he played for almost ten years. Free admission<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday 25 July<\/strong>, to close the festival, again at the Parco delle Cascine<\/strong>, the Imarhan<\/strong>, a group of Algerian musicians formed in Tamanrasset, influenced by desert-rock groups as much as traditional Tuareg music. Free admission<\/p>\n\n\n\n
