The workshop is an intensive experience guided by the author, playwright and actor Michele Santeramo on creative writing. In particular, the work will focus on the drafting of the theatrical monologue through the analysis of the construction of an outline, the writing of the first draft, its revisions, the dialogue between actor and spectator. Above all, we will put at the center of the reflection, to be developed and frequented in a group, how even the monologue, in the theater, is always the outcome of a relationship, of a continuous dialogue between the two characters who always inhabit the scene: the actor and the spectator. There are different ways to tell the life stories of people we feel\u2026 Well, maybe just writing \u201cwe feel\u201d is enough to fully feel the movement that some forcefully awaken within us. Their story can be told and written by putting them at the center of a plot or you can tell what happens to the lives of others thanks to the life of that one. Oltretutto is this: a biography of the lives that have in different ways crossed paths with the life of Don Tonino Bello. Because, as the author writes, \u201cthere are lives that change lives\u201d. Storia d\u2019amore e di calcio (Story of Love and Football)<\/em> tells the story of the first clandestine football world championship in history. It is played in a village, between teams made up of immigrants. Whoever wins the world cup will rule over the underworld for a year. The stories the text tells link football and love. The protagonists are anonymous people, and the stories are set in a square, also anonymous but at the same time the container of the deep pulse of the lives of those few people who spend their time chasing their dreams, losing them, finding them again and rediscovering the pleasure of falling in love. Stories that tell of an Italy that is different from the usual, where the inhabitants still know each other, and worry about their children and establishing a sense of belonging to a community.
