{"id":5549,"date":"2014-09-09T09:22:16","date_gmt":"2014-09-09T09:22:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fabbricaeuropa.net\/?p=5549"},"modified":"2015-03-12T16:17:25","modified_gmt":"2015-03-12T16:17:25","slug":"terramara-19912013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fabbricaeuropa.net\/en\/terramara-19912013\/","title":{"rendered":"PUPILLA 1983\/2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<h6>The project RIC.CI Reconstruction Italian Contemporary Choreography Years \u201980-\u201990, conceived and directed by Marinella Guatterini, aims to emphasize and to (re)set in motion the memory of Italian contemporary dance since the early eighties until the beginning of the nineties, remembering a chapter of our artistic past almost forgotten, but full of a surprisingly original creativity, often hovering on the boundary between dance, theatre, visual arts, poetry and literature.<\/h6>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Valeria Magli<br \/>\nPUPILLA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In 1983 Pupilla, a pi\u00e8ce by and with Valeria Magli, was rich in such unequivocal cultural references as Hans Bellmer and Heinrich von Kleist, articulated in a series of evocative, moving, rarefied images. It still is.<br \/>\nToday\u2019s recreation of the pi\u00e8ce, performed by three dancers from DanceHaus Company, still tells the tale of the relationship between dolls, childhood, eroticism and more.<br \/>\nIn Magli\u2019s words: &#8220;Dolls belong to the large family of puppets, dummies and clockwork automata: human effigies related to the ancient myth of death and resurrection, the metamorphosis of the living into the dead&#8221;.<br \/>\nRich in highly sophisticated imagination and carefully selected music and verse, Pupilla returns with its ambiguous she-robots from a pioneering Italian season of &#8220;poesia ballerina&#8221; that is still fresh today.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6>with DanceHaus Company<br \/>\nperformed by Chiara Monteverde, Armida Pieretti, Susan Vettori<br \/>\nmusic: Claude Debussy, Gabriel Faur\u00e9, Juan Hidalgo, Ethelbert Nevin, C.J.
