Starting from a common expertise (managing the implementation of an artistic project and its reception by audiences), we are engaging in an exploration within an experimental setting. The various partners also hope to rely on a long-lasting professional network of assistance and solidarity based on the principles of a contributive economy (cooperation, sharing, information technologies).<\/p>\n<p>This experimental structure is made up of 4 labs that shape the project and determine the program of activities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LAB #1 Strengthening competencies<\/strong><br \/>\nFORMULATING AND SHARING research and needs relative to the evolution of the work environment and its impact on artistic practices and their social integration;<br \/>\nPUTTING INTO PERSPECTIVE the synergy between the different players in the artistic management field for a common vision of art as experimentation;<br \/>\nSTRENGTHENING new competency profiles surrounding artistic careers, now and in the upcoming years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LAB #2 A management structure based on networks<\/strong><br \/>\nRETHINKING the artists\u2019 careers beyond national contexts and frameworks;<br \/>\nEXPERIMENTING with a collegial and transnational management approach that is adapted to the current setting;<br \/>\nMANAGING the projects\u2019 strategic development and financial models in order to ensure a better sustainability for the artists\u2019 careers.<\/p>\n<p>Result of this Lab has been the artistic cohabitation project <a href=\"https:\/\/fabbricaeuropa.net\/en\/events\/half-a-house-3\/\"><strong>HALF A HOUSE<\/strong><\/a>, initiated by the artists <strong>Sonia G\u00f3mez<\/strong> (ES), <strong>Leonardo Delogu<\/strong> (IT), <strong>Brogan Davison<\/strong> (UK), <strong>Gosie Vervloessem<\/strong> (BE) and <strong>P\u00e9tur \u00c1rmannsson<\/strong> (IS) taking place within Fabbrica Europa from May 10 to 14 at Palazzina Ex Fabbri in Florence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LAB #3 Innovating tools of production: investigating commissions<\/strong><br \/>\nSETTING UP a framework in which artistic commissions invite citizens to participate;<br \/>\nSETTING UP a framework in which the backer doesn\u2019t only participate in the beginning and end of the process but also becomes a representative or advocate promoting the process itself;<br \/>\nSETTING UP a framework that allows for the artist\u2019s local involvement in response to a request or need arising from civil society.<\/p>\n<p>The winner of the Call Current Utopia, launched within this Lab, has been Belgian artist <strong>Ief Spincemaille<\/strong> with the project <a href=\"https:\/\/fabbricaeuropa.net\/en\/events\/rope-possibilities-of-binding-3\/\"><strong>ROPE.
