\nFabbrica Europa led the way at a time when it was still unusual to find performances, concerts and shows in this type of scenario.<\/p>\n
The news of the Stazione Leopolda being up for auction caused immediate great concern on the international scene. Starting from Budapest which hosted on November 4 \u2013 8 the meeting of IETM, which is an international network for contemporary performing arts gathering more than 500 organisations from around 50 countries.<\/p>\n
Ever since the first edition of Fabbrica Europa, in 1994, Stazione Leopolda has been the heart of the festival, a building recuperated for cultural purposes of the City; over the years, it has become one of the most fascinating European places from the point of view of Industrial Architecture and Contemporary Art.
\nHere some of the most famous names have been hosted for more than twenty years representing the Contemporary Scene: Anna Teresa de Keersmaker, Angelin Preljocaj, Peter Brook, Fura dels Baus, C\u00e9sar Brie e il Teatro de Los Andes, Jan Fabre, Shen Wei, Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Flamand, Ai Wei Wei, Ballet National de Marseille, Alain Platel, Virgilio Sieni, Wim Vandekeybus, Meg Stuart, Beno\u00eet Lachambre, Lucinda Child, Meredith Monk, Archie Schepp, Heiner Goebbels, David Moss, Roswell Rudd, Societas Raffaello Sanzio \/ Romeo Castellucci, Anatolij Vasiliev, Maurizio Nannucci, Luca Ronconi, Tomi Janezic, and many others.
\nThe concern at international level is shared by all those working in Fabbrica Europa. Everyone wonders what the future may hold.<\/p>\n
