PRESENTATION OF THE PROJECT ART SWEET ART

Art Sweet Art is a platform devoted to residencies for visual artists in private homes, open and accessible to visitors.

The project has been designed by two young cultural operators, Laura Caruso and Saverio Verini, who have designed a model that proposes a new form of collecting where contemporary artists work with families and individuals to create site-specific visual art interventions.

A network of public and private bodies is investing on Art Sweet Art: five municipalities of the Valtiberina – Anghiari, Città di Castello, Citerna, Monterchi and Sansepolcro – and an important company, SENS.US, together to realize a museum spread over the territory and to create a model of cultural development, shared and participatory, to be exported to other contexts.
