Edda began his artistic career in the late eighties as a singer of Ritmo Tribale, a famous Italian rock band, and with them he recorded five albums and gave more than a hundred concerts. Then there was a long pause in his music career and social life – a personal crisis; difficult years spent alternating between drug addiction and rehabs. It was all covered in the songs from his first solo album “Semper Biot”, produced by Taketo Gohara. A sombre and striking debut, hailed by critics as one of the purest albums of recent years.
After other three successful recordings Edda comes back now with “Graziosa Utopia” (Woodworm/distr. Audioglobe). It is a fascinating and complex album that combines seemingly light rock with the sweet sound of the sixties, wins you from the first listen and has all the chances to be one of the best albums of 2017.
