Marco Puccini + Virgilio Villoresi _ live performance
The kinetic and visionary art of artist and filmmaker Virgilio Villoresi, a skilled manipulator of found footage and expert on the step-one technique, comes together in this live performance with the dreamy music of Mark Puccini, made of echoes of childhood that dilate in enveloping melodies. One manipulates the live image, creating a step-one animation in real time, while the other accompanies him with his soundtrack.
Villoresi is one of the most respected film makers of his generation. Winner of numerous awards and festivals, including the award P.I.V.I. (2009) and the Cartoons of Rome (2010), has collaborated with artists like Vinicio Capossela Ericailcane and staged video performances for some of the most important Italian festivals. He was also selected by “Next Exit” as one of the best talent in the 2010 yearbook “Young Blood”.
Marco Puccini, composer and sound experimenter, has worked for many years with the theatre company Krypton, and with some of the most important performers of the international scene including FrankoB and Stelarc. Puccini currently continues his search for avant-garde electronic sounds and is actively working for the sonorizations of the video productions of “The fake factory” (Milan /Florence), for RAI (Italian Television) and for commercials.

Rufus _ dj set
Rufus is considered one of the most interesting, innovative and versatile djs active in Italy. In Florence he is known for his dj sets with funk, downbeat, deep and disco, with a good dose of old-fashioned house, Detroit and most recently, UK Funky. His activity on the Florentine scene, particularly thanks to the collaboration with Monochrome, gave him the opportunity to get in touch with the best djs of the sector (Trus’me, Prins Thomas, Metro Area, Todd Terje, Cassy, Jamie Jones and many others) and to play in many Italian and European clubs. Between 2007 and 2008 he took part in the show “Extra ” on All Music and has toured Italy as the official dj of Levis. As a producer Bosconi Records entrusted him the first release that lauches Bosconi Extra Virgin with the EP Like A Virgin in 2009, followed by That’s Amore EP (Part Two) with Ilario Alicante and by the tracks Luv Luv Luv and Into The Dance. It is now one of their wards, and as a talent scout and a passionate researcher of music, he regularly contributes in the search of the hottest, revolutionary and old-school side of the famous Florentine label. Actually he anchors the programme 4 / 4 – Alternative Solutions for Club Music on Controradio.
