With the album ZERO,999…, Modena-based sound artist Riccardo La Foresta unveils a new paradigm in his musical research.

The live performance merges acoustic and digital instruments within an immersive environment, shaped by the sculptures of Roxy Ceron and the light design of Akasha.

Inspired by the combinatorial logic of Italo Calvino’s The Castle of Crossed Destinies, the performance deconstructs sound into a powerful, resonant narrative, unleashing layered drones that explore unprecedented temporal and perceptual scales.

Riccardo La Foresta expands the expressive potential of drums by combining improvisation with sound art. Joining him on stage are Akasha, a visual artist who explores digital art through code and light, and Roxy Ceron, a visual artist and sculptor whose practice investigates the luminous and physical distortion of industrial materials.
