Dei suoni i passi 2024

SEPTEMBER 1 – 8, 2024
Firenzuola · Barberino Di Mugello · San Piero a Sieve · Fiesole

DEI SUONI I PASSI, a project that was born in 2018, is focused on the relationship between music and the environment and aims to tell, discover and connect the territories from Florence up to the Tuscan Apennines, passing through the Via degli Dei.

The Fondazione Fabbrica Europa project has grown over the years thanks to a constant and real relationship with the institutions active in the municipalities involved – from Firenzuola passing through Barberino di Mugello, Scarperia e San Piero a Sieve, Fiesole – also thanks to the success that the now well-known path that unites Bologna and Florence has had over time.

Over the years, the project has hosted musicians such as Alfio Antico, Vasco Brondi, Elio Germano and Teho Teardo, Nada, Paolo Benvegnù, Appino, and for the 2024 edition it has created a program dedicated to Tuscan talents, from the youngest to the most well-known.

The 2024 edition is realized with the support of Regione Toscana, Città Metropolitana di Firenze and with peculiar collaborations for each stage.

LUCIO CORSI

Lucio Corsi was born in 1993 in Vetulonia, near Grosseto, and is considered one of the most interesting personalities of his musical generation. He is able to blend songwriting, folk-pop, and glam rock to create a sound that is the product of extremely diverse interests and influences.
The first musical influences for Lucio were the ones of Genesis and Peter Gabriel, who contributed to the creation of songs with experimental and progressive rock sounds. Afterward, he approached Italian songwriting tradition and started admiring artists like Flavio Giurato and Ivan Graziani. In 2014 Lucio Corsi published his first EP “Vetulonia Dakar”, which offered him the possibility to perform at MIAMI Festival. His second EP was “Altalena Boy” (2015) and afterward was combined together with “Vetulonia Dakar”. In 2017 Corsi published his second studio album “Bestiario Musicale”, a concept album with a fable-like theme: each one of the eight tracks was dedicated to an animal typical of Tuscan Maremma. That same year he opened the concerts of Brunori Sas and Baustelle and was chosen by artistic director Alessandro Michele as a testimonial for Gucci’s Campaign “Cruise 2018”. In 2020 he released “Cosa faremo da grandi?”, produced by Francesco Bianconi and Antonio Cupertino for Sugar Music. The album was matched with the works of the visionary director Tommaso Ottomano and received huge appreciation both by critics and the public.

Emma Nolde, born in Tuscany in 2000, is without a doubt one of the voices of the future of Italian music. Her first album, “Toccaterra”, was released in September 2020 and was acclaimed by critics as a surprising and important debut. “Dormi”, the second album, came two years later, preceded by the singles “Respiro” and “La stessa parte della luna”, both co-produced by Francesco Motta who worked with Emma on the production of the entire album, released in September 2022. These are years of intense live and studio activity, in which the artist was able to observe, absorb and prepare for what will be the sequel.
