Afasians – the last conference is the most important science event of the world and also totally irrelevant for scientific progress. We will be hearing for the first time the first ever declarations from the four members of the Afasian tribe.
The Afasians will talk about their discoveries, including the destruction of the SELF and the opening of Schršdinger’s Cat Box, the only cat that is alive and dead at the same time.
The Afasians have asked for a table and four chairs. And a sofa for the break, obviously. There will be no Power Point, nor statistics, nor objective data, because that is not valued There. Actually the Afasians are not a tribe, nor do the make discoveries, nor give conferences, but we are calling it tribe, discovery and conference so we can understand them.
loscorderos·sc & Za! (thelambs) was founded in 2003 by David Climent and Pablo Molinero, both of whom belong to the generation of ‘77. They met for the first time in 1994 at UJI’s (Jaume I University) Theatre Hall in Castellón where, together with two other students, they created the theatre group La Casual. In 1996 they met again in the group Visitants Compañía de Teatro, where they acquired the experience needed to do street theatre. Their restless spirit led them to work with other theatre companies, including Danaus, El Teatre de l’Home Dibuixat, Pikor Teatro, La Fura dels Baus, Corp Rompu, and Sol Picó Compañía de Danza, among others. Then they carried out, often separately, their own performing arts projects, audiovisual interventions and other jobs, as well as attending courses and training sessions. first project is Cr—nica de JosŽ Agarrotado (The chronicle of Joe Tauten), created in 2003, followed by El hombre visible (The Visible Man) in 2007, Tocamos a dos balas por cabeza (Two bullets per head) in 2008, El mal menor (The lesser evil) in 2010, El cielo de los tristes (Heaven for the miserable) in 2011.
In 2012 loscorderos artists were selected as part of the 2013-2014 Modul-dance, multi-annual cooperation project funded by the European Commission through the Culture Programme.
In 2015 The Band of the end of the world premiered at Temporada Alta Festival of Girona and last year Afasians – the last conference premiered in València at Festival Tercera Setmana.
