within the International showcase of young choreographers
A solo that questions the body as an object of resistance.
At every stage of our development, in all our experiences, we had to resist.
The body is a place full of scars, the past is drawn on the skin, and its presence, visible or hidden, allows us to keep our eyes open on the present.
“Without urge the body is really a small thing” (Ô Pulso de Tita’s).
Aline shaves her hair as a sign of protest against a standard of beauty imposed by her environment and the media, and uses her body as a stem that the wind bent but never cut.
The pulse is still beating!
