as part of Fabbrica Europa 2024
The performance is a journey, and it is inspired by this theme.
Real journeys or imaginary journeys, where desires and memories are mixed, sounds and music crop up, messages are sent from places near and far.
Luminous cases follow the movements in an abstract scene that leads the performers into the dimension of the journey: the unknown, the surprise, the stillness, the mystery.
Oltreconfine continues the work of Compagnia Xe on the Personae project for young people and adults with disabilities with the aim of creating moments of sharing and participation in social life through dance and movement theatre.
Julie Ann Anzilotti founded the Compagnia Xe in 1991, after her avantgarde artistic experiences in theatre and dance with ‘I Magazzini’ and ‘Parco Butterfly’ companies. She is a choreographic composition teacher at Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi in Milan. She developed the project Personae with disabled and non-disabled artists.
