4 little swans – Variazione N° – La sagra della primavera

An evening consisting of three different works, three pieces created in different moments but with the same vocation. 4 little swans, Variazione N° and La sagra della primavera follow a common path of reflection on the “dance practice”.
Three works starting from historical references: the famous choreography of the four swans of the Swans Lake ballet by Petipa; the compositional form called variation, present in every ballet, where the main female character, the Etoile, shows all her expressive and technical ability and finally the most famous and scandalous musical score in the history of dance, The Rite of Spring, composed in 1912 by Stravinsky.
