Memorie in passi, a show by Roberto Lori / Compagnia Simona Bucci, is the first of the new events of the second edition of Dance4Gardens, a project by Compagnia Simona Bucci and Fondazione Fabbrica Europa.
Dance4Gardens is a dance and music project that involves young international artists in the creation of original and itinerant performances, conceived to be presented in unusual scenarios of some historic villas and in other significant spaces of the metropolitan area of Florence.
The central theme of the project is memory, explored from a personal, historical and collective point of view through site-specific performances that inhabit the various spaces, enhancing their nature and architectural features.

MEMORIE IN PASSI
The performance investigates the theme of memory in order to rediscover popular traditions that have always been an important part of the cultural baggage of our land.
Through a juxtaposition of tableaux, five dancers present the daily life of the young people of the village, the rituals of the celebrations, the dynamics of the traditional family, the desire for freedom and discovery of the world beyond the village.
The other Dance4Gardens projects
RE-ENCONTRE, a dance and live music creation by Tibetan choreographer Sang Jijia. Performed by eight young performers, it is a new version of the original dance and multimedia production presented at the Fabbrica Europa festival in 2018.
ME/MOIRE SECRET GARDEN, fourth stage of Me/Moire, a project of fusion between contemporary dance and Butoh arose from the collaboration between the choreographer Yumiko Yoshioka and the dancer and director Camilla Giani, started in 2015 with the support of Compagnia Simona Bucci.
