Site specific performance
The figure of the knight, the music and the image come together with the space of Stazione Leopolda in a site-specific performance.
In a defined time these elements have the opportunity to meet, discuss and together try to move the common point of view for a glimpse of that threshold, the border line that opens up before our eyes, in wonderful places.
The dynamic sequence of events tries to recreate a dreamlike perception of time to understand, albeit for a very brief and fleeting moment, a different way of feeling.
In this context, the thought runs along the perimeter of a circle that goes around the man’s/rider’s body and turns into a monstrous and animalistic world.
Santasangre is an artistic research project that was born in Rome in late 2001. A collective expression of diverse artistic training and personality, the Santasangre begin their journey by putting together what was the training of all: the body art, language video, installations and mechanical sound.
The line that always distinguishes the design of Santasangre is structured in a direction of interference with the present through the infinite possibilities that the artistic language possesses.
