As part of the 90BUSSOTTI. Ascolti e visioni su Sylvano Bussotti project
Luca Scarlini tells the figure of Sylvano Bussotti in a journey enriched by the images of photographers Roberto Masotti and Silvia Lelli who in the 1980/1981 season followed the staging of “Le Racine” at the Piccola Scala in Milan.
Composer, director, painter, set designer and costume designer, Sylvano Bussotti was born in Florence on 1 October 1931 passed away on 19 September 2021, a few days before his 90th birthday.
He has represented the aspiration to the total work of art and the ability of the visual arts to influence each other. Since he was a boy he has worked on musical composition as well as drawing and painting; his art exhibitions are held in various countries around the World. From his concert activity, he developed the theatrical experience that led him to deal with cinema and television.
90BUSSOTTI. Ascolti e visioni su Sylvano Bussotti is a project coordinated by Culter and curated by Fabbrica Europa, Fondazione Culturale Stensen, Florence Queer Festival, Tempo Reale, Maschietto Editore, in collaboration with Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Bussotti Opera Ballet e Museo Marino Marini.
