platform A35
Far from creating a choreography in the shape of a tale, the performer does a research on experimenting instant composition.
The performance creates space for listening and receiving external input, aware of a cognitive process proper to each single person.
It’s not a matter of getting information from a place, but of experiencing it: to perceive density, emptiness, balance, joints movement, dialogue.
The scene is like a real city map where a passerby walks through each cubic metre, centimetre, millimeter. Who can give importance to such a small measure?
Trying to get even the smallest measures, the dancer’s body scales down and draws a map made by words, images, lines inspired by memory, imagination and personal experience.

platform A35 develops in the new space of Fabbrica Europa, PARC ex Scuderie Granducali in Florence, an unconventional place.
The project is based on the idea of presenting young choreographers, Italian and not only, whose research shows new creative processes, but also the changing society that is necessarily reflected in them.
