As part of the Italy-Norway Bilateral Dance Residencies project, Fabbrica Europa is hosting at PARC the residency of the Norwegian group moco movement collective with their creation Resonans.
Resonans is an immersive, site specific performance that explores the concept of Resonance in the context of choreography, architecture, lighting and sound design, involving eight professional dancers.
Civilization is built on stories. Stories that harm some and benefit others. This project wants to destabilize stories that are presented as unshakable and true.
moco movement collective was established by Stine Isachsen Knudsen in 2019, and has since then produced six full length performances in addition to several commissioned works in alternative spaces in Norway and abroad (signature buildings, galleries, urban spaces, sculptures).
The choreography is severely physical, with an intricate language of movement that emphasizes partnerwork. It centers on generating a sense of intimacy and challenge the boundaries between performers and audience.
