A space for exploration and sharing dedicated to deconstructing the conventional theatrical form to create an open environment, where authenticity and intimacy can emerge freely, without hierarchies.
Through the interview technique, participants will investigate the meaning of the performative action, the concept of “staying” and being in relation with the other, the comfort and discomfort within a performative space, wondering if this space can redefine one’s self within a collective context, creating a meaningful dialogue even through silences.
Each participant is invited to explore their own fragility, a personal image or idea.
The work includes experiential, technical and argumentative aspects.

Emilia Verginelli, born in Rome and educated in the United States, is an actress, performer, director, and author. Active in cinema since 2004, she was a member of the Sud Costa Occidentale company led by Emma Dante from 2011 to 2019. She combines her passion for theater with social commitment: since 2001, she has volunteered as a theater artist at the Opera Don Guanella in Rome, and in 2003 she founded a theater workshop for the juvenile court and the no profit Gruppo Sorriso. In 2010, she created fivizzano27, an independent cultural space in the Pigneto district of Rome. In 2019, she directed io non sono nessuno, and in 2023, Lourdes, exploring where the self is situated beyond the collective.
