Another step towards the NID Platform 2014.
In Ravenna, on the occasion of AnticorpiXL, first meeting of the artistic commission for the selection of the projects to be presented during the Platform in Pisa, May 22 – 25

Another step towards the second edition of the NID Platform. On September 19 in Ravenna, on the occasion of the showcase AnticorpiXL, the first meeting of the artistic commission which will proceed by the end of October to the selection of the performances that will be featured in the prestigious event, planned by 17 organisations members of ADEP (Association of Dance and Promotion within FEDERDANZA-AGIS) and aimed at the dissemination and development of Italian dance in the world, which will be held in Pisa on May 22 to 25 of the next year.
The 2014 edition is promoted and organised by FTS Fondazione Toscana Spettacolo, coordinator of the R.T.O (temporary cluster of operators) with Fondazione Teatro di Pisa and Fondazione Fabbrica Europa per le arti contemporanee, with the support of Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali – Direzione Generale per lo spettacolo dal vivo and Regione Toscana.

There was a large response of the Italian companies to the Call published in last June: more than 100 companies sent their application to take part in this showcase that is addressed not only to the cultural operators but also to the public and to the press. A unique opportunity for having a 360° panorama of the Italian dance production.
The artistic committee, characterized by a high professional profile, is composed of seven members from Italy and other European countries: Anna Lea Antolini (responsible for Italian dance promotion and programming, DNA Fondazione Romaeuropa), Roberto Casarotto (responsible for international dance projects, Opera Estate Festival / CSC – Centro per la Scena Contemporanea / Casa della Danza di Bassano del Grappa), Rino De Pace (artistic direction and programming Festival Milano Oltre), Joanna Leśnierowska (responsible for performing arts, Art Stations Foundation of Poznan), Silvano Patacca (program director and artistic director of dance, Fondazione Teatro di Pisa), Stéphanie Pécourt (director of Wallonie-Bruxelles Théâtre / Danse, Cultural Contact Point), Virve Sutinen (artistic director and CEO Dansens Hus in Stockholm until the end of 2013 and artistic director of Tanz im August Berlin, in the 2014-2015 period).
