The Crossing the Sea project, supported by the MIBAC (the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities) as part of the Boarding Pass Plus program, was created to promote Italian artists in Middle East and Asian countries. The project aims to establish long-term relations with foreign organizations working in contemporary performing arts that are expressing interest in Italian artistic production.

The 20 Italian projects, selected by a jury composed of the artistic directors of the project partner organizations*, were presented by the artists Barbara BertiTeodoro Bonci Del BeneAndrea Costanzo MartiniEffetto LarsenJacopo JennaSalvo LombardoPietro MarulloTecnologia FilosoficaDavide ValrossoLuna CenereCollettivo CineticoMarco D’AgostinDewey DellDispensa BarzottiFattoria VittadiniIsabella GiustinaGiovanfrancesco GianniniFabio NovembriniValentina ZappaClaudia MezzollaAntonio MontanileIlenia RomanoIrene RussolilloTeatro Sotterraneo.

Salvo Lombardo will present Bodies Memories, a workshop in collaboration with Daria Greco. Davide Valrosso will work on The Golden Age, an exchange of creative processes with local artists and communities.
