A meeting among dancers conceived by Maria Vittoria FeltreSara SguottiNicola Simone Cisternino and hosted by PARC Performing Arts Research Centre

Meeting 09.19 aims to facilitate the exchange of information among dancers who work in Tuscany and to create new synergies.
It is structured in three days of practices from September 9 to 11, from 10:00 to 12:00. These classes will be followed by brief talks to exchange information and opinions on the artistic activities that will take place in Tuscany during the year.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Meeting 09.19 is open to all the artists of the sector and the lessons are free.

Maria Vittoria Feltre is a dancer and performer. After attending the Liceo Coreutico Teatro Nuovo in Turin, she has continued her study of contemporary dance in the Netherlands at Codarts – Rotterdam Danse Academie. Between 2012 and 2015 she was a dancer for the Opus Ballet company directed by Rosanna Broccatello, Officina Pontormo directed by Virgilio Sieni, for Sharon Fridman (Oriente Occidente, Rovereto) and for Levantes Dance Theatere (Greenwich Dance Theatre, London). From 2016 she was a dancer for the Compagnia Francesca Selva, for Giancarlo Cauteruccio’s Teatro Studio Krypton in several site-specific projects, and a member of the Gruppo M.U.D. collective, thanks to which she began to devote herself to choreographic composition. She is carrying out several authorial projects like ISOLE SENSIBILI, with Luca Zanni for CON.COR.D.A. Consorzio Coreografi Danza d’Autore, and DOYOUWANNAJUDGEME, with Luca Zanni and Nicola Simone Cisternino, supported by Company Blu and recently selected for the young dance showcase Anticorpi XL 2019. In addition to her work as a dancer she collaborates with national and international choreographers in various teaching projects.
Sara Sguotti began her artistic career attending the Fine Arts Academy in Frosinone and simultaneously taking part in a collective project with the Ritmi Sotterranei company. She has collaborated as a dancer with the Compagnia Virgilio Sieni (Sonate BachEsercizi di PrimaveraDolce VitaLa MerLa Sagra della Primavera) and in various projects of the Accademia del Gesto. In 2016 she began to work as a movement assistant for the contemporary circus shows of Roberto Magro, and in the same year took part in the remake of the film “Suspiria”, directed by Luca Guadagnino, creating the choreographies in collaboration with Damien Jalet. In 2017 she collaborated with Cristina Rizzo in VN Serenade and with Roberto Magro in the contemporary circus show Silenzio. In 2018 she took part in Simona Bertozzi’s Joye de Vivre and in 2019 she began working with Company Blu. Her personal path began in 2016 with S. (Corto in Danza award). In 2017 S.Solo won the DNA appunti coreografici call. In 2016 with Nicola Simone Cisternino she gave life to the Sa.Ni project. Their creation Tuttuno was among the winners of the l’Italia dei Visionari 2017 call, was selected for the Anticorpi XL 2107 showcase and won the Cura 2017 call. S. Ritual, a duet with her brother Gianluca, debuted in 2018 at Romaeuropa.
Nicola Simone Cisternino started the study of movement at the professional academy Opus Ballet in Florence, studying contemporary technique, urban dance and ballet. In 2011 he began working as a professional, first with the Petrillo Danza company, then with Virgilio Sieni, and collaborating with various realities such as the collective Ritmi Sotterranei, the Collettivo Cani, the Mda Danza company, the MuxArte company, the Kinkaleri project, Piergiorgio Milano, the Abbondanza / Bertoni company, Cristina Rizzo, Anton Lachky, Company Blu. He participated in some editions of the Venice Dance Biennale in the workshop of Arkadi Zaides, Anton Lachky and David Zambrano and in the performances organized by the Biennale. Winner as soloist of several prizes (DanzaFirenze, Danza in Fiera, Spoleto Danza), he founded with the dancer Sara Sguotti the SA.NI. project, and with nine of the best Italian dancers the “Stabile di Li”. In 2018 he was one of the finalists of DNA appunti coreografici, a support project for young Italian choreographers.
