The project
Crossing the sea is a project for the internationalization of the performing arts aimed at creating and consolidating long-term collaborations between Italy, the Middle East and Asia. The project is implemented with the support of the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities within the Boarding Pass Plus call.
In 2018 and 2019 the seven Italian partners, through a call for young artists and operators, are launching an internationalization process aimed at promoting networking opportunities and sharing good practices, fostering international co-productions and bilateral exchanges, encouraging the participation in international platforms and meetings.
Thanks to the opportunity provided by the project, the Italian and international partners will strengthen and implement the relationship between the different geographical areas, creating an informal network that can act as a hub for the development of activities among the countries involved.
