The Surrounder, a fragment of gestures and poetic lines in repetition, offers a view on our inner edge between intimacy and proximity, exposure. He dares to be seen, risks to observe.

Alice Nardi is an independent artist and dance maker active between Germany and Italy. Devoted to martial arts since her childhood, she has a background as peacebuilder which lately evolved into a deep call for transformative processes within her performative practice on stage.
With about fifteen years of experience in karate and competitions, she started practicing a vast array of physical practices from the age of four, such as ballet, martial arts and more recently, physical theater, contemporary dance, realising techniques and improvisation.
She first approached politics, archeosophy and somatics, to then pursued her own artistic path on compositional skills, as main tool of investigation for attractions, intersection and interactions between sense and surround, between intention emotion and action in alignment, when making pieces choreographed in real time. Interested in the studio of matter dynamics in its organic nature, fascinated by the receptive imaginative mind which can be opened through elements, shapes and systems in communication At the moment she pushes forward her own work through sound architecture, visual art and video installation. She worked with B.I.M.A Berlin Improvisational Music Academy and took part in the last edition of SounDance Festival Berlin, B.arts.U. She currently collaborates with various dancers, musicians, artists, directors, choreographers and teaches workshops and regular classes in Dock11 – Eden Berlin and other venus.

platform A35 develops in the new space of Fabbrica Europa, PARC ex Scuderie Granducali in Florence, an unconventional place.
The project is based on the idea of presenting young choreographers, Italian and not only, whose research shows new creative processes, but also the changing society that is necessarily reflected in them.
