Circle of Resonance brings together, for the first time, internationally acclaimed musicians from Armenia, Turkey, and France.

Arto Tunçboyaciyan (percussion, vocals), kemençe virtuoso Derya Türkan, and Michel Godard on the serpent deconstruct the very concept of the concert.

Conceived by the BlurNotes label, the performance dispenses with every safety net: without scores or a designated leader, the musicians stand in a circle, translating impulse into sound and transforming the performance into an act of pure spatial and spiritual evocation.

Arto Tunçboyaciyan is an iconic Armenian-Anatolian percussionist and leader of the Armenian Navy Band. Derya Türkan is a renowned master of the kemençe, devoted to the Ottoman classical tradition. Michel Godard, a French tubist and composer, is one of the world’s very few virtuoso performers on the serpent.
