Fuego by C.G.J. Collettivo Giulio e Jari wants to activate a dynamic and rhythmic circuit generated by a choreographic core that is expanded through different modulations.

The actions of the body interact with the sound fabric to produce the trigger of a composition, finding in the repetition and multiplication of trajectories, sequences and exchanges of information, a space and a time that expand and contract, going beyond their own codified margins.

A choreographic and sound format that feeds on a continuous progress, declining developments, durations, intentions, themes, impulses which spread in a short time as though in an endless flow.

Jari Boldrini, trained at the Opus Ballet school in Florence, and Giulio Petrucci, a Teatro alla Scala ballet school graduate, have collaborated individually with various Italian and international institutions and collected common experiences with authors like Fabrizio Favale, Cristina Kristal Rizzo, Virgilio Sieni and Stefano Questorio.
Their backgrounds, although different, unite their common interests, which consolidate over time a strong friendship. Their various daily and work experiences together nurture their artistic thinking, which led them to give birth to C.G.J. Collettivo Giulio e Jari in 2018. The collective is a research project of performative formats, which pays attention to the body and movement and observes the multiple aspects hidden in the everyday life of every culture. With the project Evento, they were selected by Vetrina Anticorpi XL 2020, Anghiari Dance Hub 2020 and the Twain_DirezioniAltre 2020. In the same year they won the Danza&Danza prize as emerging performers.
Thanks to ResiDanceXL 21 they began their second project, Pas de deux, which obtained a production support by winning DNAppunti coreografici 2021.

Mappe del Nuovo Mondo (Maps of the New World) is a platform focusing on the new performing arts scene which shows creative processes and outcomes of young artists and international protagonists who work with body languages, music, sound, new technologies and interaction with the public, experimenting new practices and site-specific formats.
