In Evita Polidoro’s live performance, drums, voice and electronics intertwine in a musical language that moves across jazz, rock, ambient textures and experimental soundscapes.
On stage, Polidoro shapes a dynamic and powerful sonic landscape, shifting seamlessly between rhythmic intensity, rich timbral layers and moments of intimacy without conforming to the boundaries of any single genre. Rather than presenting a set that can be easily categorized, she creates a deeply personal musical world where percussion and voice follow the same expressive trajectory, woven together with guitars and electronic pulses.
Evita Polidoro is a drummer, singer and composer whose artistic journey has led her to collaborate with internationally acclaimed musicians including Enrico Rava and Dee Dee Bridgewater. With “Nerovivo”, released in 2024, she established a distinctive artistic voice, combining drums and vocals with influences drawn from experimental jazz, post-rock and ambient electronics.
