“I am awfully greedy; I want everything from life. I want to be a woman and to be a man, to have many friends and to have loneliness, to work much and write good books, to travel and enjoy myself, to be selfish and to be unselfish… You see, it is difficult to get all which I want. And then when I do not succeed I get mad with anger.” (Simone de Beauvoir)

Inside each of us there is a world of negative and contradictory emotions. We’ve learned to hide them, bury them deep. They escape like rogue flames, tiny daily fires that we rush to put out before someone is harmed. Before someone notices. Because we never speak about them,
even as we go up in flames.
Fireball is born of a desire to give space and voice to this inner world, without brakes, without censure.
Fireball is a gesture of liberation. A declaration. An emotional atlas charted centimetre
by centimetre.
Fireball is an invitation to come out in the open.

On stage, the open, abstract scenery serves as a canvas where Floor Robert unveils a pitiless and poetic portrait of her fears and desires. Using a personal lexicon that draws on the vocabularies of theatre, dance, installation and visual arts, Robert builds and destroys objects, landscapes and identities.
She weaves a human dialogue, intimate and surreal, with herself and with the public. Also on stage is Monica Bosso, technician and performer. Both are in continuous transformation, without losing their identity. They support each other, question each other, enlighten each other. They engage in a destructive conversation with archetypes and expectations, between ancient goddesses and reflections on everyday life.
In the past, witches were burned at the stake. In children’s games, wizards throw balls of fire.
The fireball is an impossible object: an attempt to play with the fire we have burning inside. We can’t master the flames, or freeze them in a stable form. But we can try to observe them, to walk next to them, to listen.
