PARC hosts a residency of the choreographer and dancer Francesca Foscarini with the playwright Cosimo Lopalco working on the project Greta on the beach.
Every time has its own voice that expresses its anguish, horror, beauty, contradictions. Our time has that of Greta Thunberg, a clear, powerful voice that, like the millenarians in the Middle Ages, announces the catastrophe and nevertheless resounds as a desire for redemption with its uncorrupted and incorruptible tone, the sensitivity that does not know compromise and the strength of those who love courage and its horizons.
It is from this voice that Greta on the beach takes shape, breath, position and reveals itself slowly, like the sea that offers itself calm and seductive to the sight of the bather and transforms itself with the arrival of an unexpected wind into an impetuous wave, storm, fury, tragedy, perhaps salvation.
