I would like to investigate how the figure of a saint and the performer’s body can dialogue, avoiding the mere interpretation.
It is not a question of narrating a character or of assuming its characteristics with movement and body, rather, the figure of Giuseppe da Copertino is used as a key to carry forward a concept. In fact, the word ‘dialogue’ is not correct. There is no dialogue between the figure of the saint and the body of the performer since they are not two alterities.
