This is a work about childhood. The point of departure is a simple drawing just like the ones children do. It prompts us to ask: What is it that moved us when we were little? Growing up, what have we lost? Children are masters of discovery, each child possessing an infinite curiosity. It is the ultimate example of body and mind joined together. This choreographic research seeks to recreate that feeling of lightness and determination.
We are not free.
We are locked inside our body.
We are tied to our history.
We are inescapably part of the past.
We continue to carry things within us that are no longer there.
We depend on light.
And we accept this.
But the possibility to move between reality and fantasy remains.
How far can we be influenced by that possibility?
