Multilove//Sunshine is a sequence of micro-actions in which young performers will act within non-specific areas, creating a mechanism of adaption among place, movement and audience. The work consists of independent, intersecting and coexisting actions, that re-imagine the theatre space.

Starting from an urgency, each author-performer has investigated a gesture: some actions arise from the choice and subsequent exploration of a space, others from a research on movement, others from the use of specific theatrical mechanisms, dismantled and overturned.

The project also has a profound nature of talent scouting, which arises from the need to record actions that have not yet become something concrete.
This is why the project is preceded by a workshop in which performers will relate to each other as sharing experience of the various performative art languages.

Lorenzo Cianchi, born in Empoli in 1985, lives in Milan. Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara, he continued his studies at the Tokyo Zokei University. He focussed his research on visual art, working with collective groups and collaborating with artists like Martha Cuscunà, Simona Rossi, Michele Tajariol, Francesca Sarteanesi/Gli Omini. Since 2005 he started working with Michael Tajariol with whom participates in Festival Kilowatt di San Sepolcro with Nars, winning project of Kilow’art call, and in 2013 in Smuggling anthologies / Antologie del contrabbando, visual research project across the borders among Italy, Croatia and Slovenia, promoted by Rijeka Museum of contemporary art, Trieste contemporanea and Idrija visual art museum. In 2013, the MapGAP project was selected for the Biennale of Young Artists of the Mediterranean. Since 2010 he has collaborated with I Macelli di Certaldo in the design and creation of cultural projects.
Since 2014 he has been a member of the Scientific Committee for the contemporary section of the Museum of Ceramics of Montelupo Fiorentino.
In 2014 he founded with Natasha Fenoglio and Francesco Valtolina the collective Rio Grande that works on visual art experimentation and design.
Primavera Contu, born in Cagliari in 1988, lives in Verona. She graduated with a thesis in Dramaturgy at the University of Bologna, after training as an actress at the School of Theatre of Bologna and working for various theatre and film productions. Essential for her formation are the meetings with dramaturgy teacher Claudia Castellucci, playwright and director Fausto Paravidino, and theatre director Michael Marmarinos, within the Euro-Mediterranean project Nostoi – Histoires de retours et d’Exodes, of which Fabbrica Europa was a partner.
Then she has approached the language of performance art and in 2014 she made her debut as an author within the festival Pieces, in collaboration with Teatro Studio of Scandicci.
In 2015 she obtained the title of Peer Coach in Performing Arts, after attending the course promoted by the foundation Roots & amp; Routes.
She worked as an author and performer with musicians coming from electronic and experimental sector; with Agave Theatre, Teatro I, I Macelli di Certaldo. She worked as an assistant to dramaturgical research for Ateliersi and as a performer and teacher for In_Ocula Teatro. She participated with her idea Mezzi Vuoti to Bet on Utopia by Compagnia Fagarazzi e Zuffellato (winner of the Special Mention ArtVerona Independents 05).
She has realized educational, writing and staging projects. Since 2014 she has been a member of the board of Il Vivaio del Malcantone.
I Macelli are a philosophical thought, a community and a space for residencies and research on performing arts. Active since 2009, they aim at developing projects that mix contemporary languages and work for an audience that could be free from deciphering and from art entertainment.
