as part of Primavera dei Teatri 2023
Roberta Racis, after a period of residency, presents a Study of her new creation Atto bianco.
With this work the choreographer and performer investigates the “white act” of romantic ballet as a scenic device for representing pain.
A solo that reflects on mourning and fragility, a coming of age that passes through the exploration of the shadow zones of a dancer’s journey.
Here, the forest of villi is an enchanted wood but also the place where a woman remembers the park below the house where she first lost herself as a child.
A journey into the unconscious in which the focus is on the body, which exposing itself to the vulnerability of life goes through change by dancing.
