Saverio Lanza, with Voci | Murate, continues the research process initiated last year with Le voci dei padri (The voices of the fathers), carrying its core inquiry forward in a new site-specific chapter conceived for the MAD space at Le Murate.

Collecting and processing vocal fragments, intimate narratives, and personal testimonies, the work develops a sonic score that, unfolding from lullabies from diverse cultural backgrounds, shifts toward a hybrid reproducibility, combining acoustic voices with acousmatic interventions.

A musician, composer, and producer based in Florence, Saverio Lanza works across a wide range of practices, from songwriting to experimental music and ensemble direction. His artistic research explores the relationship between sound, community, and space, and Voci | Murate is part of this ongoing investigation as a work centered on the testimonial dimension.
