The first part of the work is based on making participants aware of simple elements derived from somatic techniques, floor work and sensory stimuli, aimed at achieving greater awareness of the body in relation to itself, space and everything around it. This subsequently enables them to rediscover their full potential and to acquire greater awareness of the origin of movement once engaged in improvisation techniques. Nappi takes care to guide participants according to her own perception of the flow of the lesson and the needs of each participant.
The second part is dedicated to the exploration of useful elements for movement composition. Starting with guided improvisations, participants are given the opportunity to put the acquired tools into practice, to explore movement in its different qualities, energies, textures, levels of motion, dynamism, theatricality, and thus begin to discover their own artistic individuality or new physical abilities.
The masterclass concludes with sharing and learning sections from KOMOCO choreographic repertoire.

Sofia Nappi, an international choreographer and dancer, graduated from the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre in New York and went on to further her studies with the Hofesh Shecter Dance Company and the studio of Gaga, a language of the famous choreographer Ohad Naharin.
