LES SCÉNOGRAPHIES-PAYSAGES EN SARDAIGNE

July 11, 2024 - July 19, 2024

Cagliari - Villacidro - Paulilatino | IT

After the residency in Canada, CRISOL – creative processes, the project coordinated by Fabbrica Europa and financed by the Ministry of Culture / Boarding Pass Plus program, moves to Sardinia for a new stage of Les Scénographies-Paysages.

Conceived by Danièle Desnoyers, the project brings together the Italian dancers Giulia Cannas, Rachele Montis and Nunzia Picciallo and the Canadian performers Châtelaine Côté-Rioux, Brontë Poiré-Prest, Myriam Arseneault to perform a choreographic score set in three distinct locations – the port area of Cagliari, the wild and monumental olive grove of San Sisinnio Park in Villacidro (South Sardinia), and the Nuragic Sanctuary of Santa Cristina in Paulilatino (Oristano) – outdoor spaces steeped in the island’s collective memory.

A poetic dialogue with these diverse spaces, the Scénographies-Paysages in Sardinia took the form of wandering tours, accompanied by the singing of Elisa Zedda, fed by local culture and legends, moving nimbly between the remains of time and the presence of the living. Programme:

July 11 · Parco Nervi, Cagliari as part of Cortoindanza 2024
July 14 · San Sisinnio Park, Villacidro as part of Cortoindanza 2024
July 18 and 19 · Archaeological site of Santa Cristina, Paulilatino curated by Fuorimargine

This co-creation and production process is promoted by Art Circulation (Montréal) and Tersicorea (Cagliari), partners of CRISOL, with the collaboration of Le Carré des Lombes (Montréal) and Fuorimargine Centro di produzione di danza e arti performative della Sardegna and with the support of the Italian Cultural Institute, Montréal and ATSA, Quand l’art passe à l’action.
