Inspired by water as a principle of thought and matter in constant transformation, HyperWater, Daniele Bianco’s new creation for the dancers of COB Compagnia Opus Ballet, explores the body as a permeable organism, flow as a rite of passage, and metamorphosis as a means to transcend the rigid boundaries of identity.

It is a territory of hybridization where the sacred and the profane, the human and the animal, ancestral and contemporary forces coexist. The choreography maps a fluid and non-binary identity, where the performers shed their individual boundaries to become a moving mass.

Dance transforms into liquid architecture, primordial vibration, and the ephemeral trace of a perennial and necessary passage.

A freelance dancer, Daniele Bianco presented his first work as an author, Guasto, in Finland at the Kuopio Dance Festival in 2014. In 2015, he was invited for a residency at ImPulsTanz in Vienna. He went on to create Ties and Utopia XL for Fotografia Europea in 2018 and 2019, Von for COB Compagnia Opus Ballet, and Manifesto d’unione for XLcompany.
Since 2020, he has been supported as a freelance choreographer by Ass. Cult. KLm. Winner of the Theodor Rawyler Award in 2020, in 2024 he was a finalist for the TWAIN_direzionialtre Award and was selected as a choreographer by Anghiari Dance Hub. At the Fabbrica Europa Festival 2025, he premiered MagmaCloud.
