The project, conceived and conducted by the artist Sara Sicuro in collaboration with the dancers Linda Vinattieri, Chiara Andreoni and Fiamma Rigoni, is a research on the territory and on the dynamics of a neighborhood market that will culminate in a performance inspired by the stories, the encounters, the spaces and other material that will be collected.

The project intends to explore the themes of community, collective space and gestural ritual. Body practices will also be used which focus on the perspective of the gaze, the relationship, the theatricalisation of movement and the choreographic composition, starting from improvisation.

CollettivO.SCENA is a collective of independent dancers, performers and actors who research and collaborate together working on sharing-training projects, international workshops and performances with a focus on instant composition.

Sara Sicuro, dancer, choreographer and teacher of contemporary dance, collaborates with various dance and theatre companies between Puglia and Tuscany. She is the author of InLimbo (Trampolino19 award winner), Lullaby (produced by Company Blu), Time_C’era tutto la materia del mondo and C’era tutto la materia del mondo 1.2 (project, supported by Company Blu, finalist of the Theodor Rawyler Prize 2023). She works on participatory artistic projects of an anthropological and social nature. She has collaborated with Virgilio Sieni as an assistant in projects of the Accademia sull’arte del gesto and curates the workshop “Danse et poésie: lire et écrire avec le corps” held at the Paul Valéry University in Montpellier (France).
