Since 1994, Fabbrica Europa has been a pioneer of Europe in Florence and Tuscany, becoming over the years an active cultural reference which, going beyond limits and crossing borders, has built bridges and connections beyond Europe with projects in Asia, Africa, Canada, South America… with a well-recognizable spirit and identity, linked to the world of performing arts, including dance, music, theatre, interdisciplinary formats and multimedia or visual arts projects.

Tuscany, Florence, the Stazione Leopolda and the other spaces of the city: the desire that has given strength to the Festival up to now has been to create a home for artists from all over the world starting from a wide network of international relations that represents a true heritage of shared projects. And Fabbrica Europa is alive because it lives for artists and with artists, a dynamic and participatory community that renews its meaning and ideas with creative energy./p>

Over the course of its thirty years, thanks to funding from the Ministry of Culture, the Tuscany Region, the Municipality of Florence, the Fondazione CR Firenze and the European Union, the Festival has continued to seek that strength, that meaning, that essence capable of broadening its gaze, thought and perspective, in search of ever new amazement and renewed wonder that could nourish the vision of artists, operators, spectators and citizens.
