MAY 7 – 13, 2023 VALERIO PALLADINO, ELISA SBARAGLI, REBECCA LENA @ Oslo (Norway) A period of work in Oslo for the young Italian artists Valerio Palladino, Elisa Sbaragli and Rebecca Lena, together with the dancer Sigrid Marie Kittelsaa Vesaas (Norway) and the musician Johann Loiseau (France), accompanied by the choreographers and dancers Heine Avdal (Norway) and Yukiko Shinozaki (Japan) as tutors. In this residency the process was focused on the theme of landscape both in the meaning linked to our society and in that of the concrete locations where performative actions take place. | |
MAY 28 – JUNE 5, 2023 VALERIO PALLADINO, GENNARO LAURO, ELISA SBARAGLI, REBECCA LENA @ Flørli (Norway) A new residency in Norway for Valerio Palladino, Gennaro Lauro, Elisa Sbaragli and Rebecca Lena, again with the artistic coordination of Heine Avdal and Yukiko Shinozaki, this time as part of the festival (((O)))utpost 2023 in Flørli, where the results of the work were presented to the public on June 2 and 3. | |
SEPTEMBER 1 – 10, 2023 OLIMPIA FORTUNI, FABIO NOVEMBRINI, ROBERTA RACIS @ Macao After online meetings held from May to August, Italian dancers and choreographers Olimpia Fortuni, Fabio Novembrini, Roberta Racis and the videomaker Federico Torre, together with the artists Albert Garcia (Macao/Taipei), Jereh Leung (Singapore), Er Gao (Guangzhou) met in Macao to further develop, with the curatorial coordination of Daniel Kok (Singapore) and Antonella Cirigliano (CROSS), the topic of the “Diorama” as a performative container for different forms of physical practices, artistic propositions, critical reflections, experimental methodologies. The results of their collective work were presented as part of Macao CDE Springboard. | |
OCTOBER 18 – 22, 2023 OLIMPIA FORTUNI AND KATATONIC SILENTIO @ Manila (Philippines) A residency in Manila for choreographer and dancer Olimpia Fortuni and the sound artist and performer Katatonic Silentio with Manila-based artist Pablo Bermudez, who investigates the utilization of costumes and video art format merging with the movement and the sound performed by Olimpia Fortuni and Katatonic Silentio in their work X. The result of this research was presented in the form of an installation/performance on October 20, 2023 at the 1f Projects art space in Manila.

OCTOBER 22 – 28, 2023 OLIMPIA FORTUNI AND KATATONIC SILENTIO @ Singapore Olimpia Fortuni and Katatonic Silentio were at the Asia-Europe Cultural Festival 2023 in Singapore, where at the end of a period of residency they presented their work X at the Asian Civilisations Museum on September 27. On this occasion, the Malaysian choreographer and dancer January Low joined the performance. This new version of the piece has highlighted the cultural exchange between Asian and Western culture. |

NOVEMBER 14 – 26, 2023 WORKSHOP-AUDITION FOR A NEW PRODUCTION BY TAKAHIRO FUJITA / MUM & GYPSY @ Sansepolcro (Italy) From 14 to 27 November 2023, at the Teatro della Misericordia in Sansepolcro, an audition was held to select actors, actresses and performers who will participate in a new Italian-Japanese co-production, the creation phase of which will take place in 2024 in Japan, where the debut will take place. This new work will involve Italian and international artists, directed by Takahiro Fujita, one of the most interesting directors and playwrights of the new Japanese scene, founder of the company mum & gypsy, partner of the CRISOL project. |

MARCH 1 – 8, 2024 FEDERICO TORRE @ Bangalore (India) Video shooting at the Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts for the video installation Digital India, later presented at CROSS Festival 2024 in Verbania. The videomaker Federico Torre, accompanied by Antonella Cirigliano (CROSS), followed the development, rehearsals and production of 4 pièces of the Indian company Attakkalari Dance Company which uses Bharatanatyam, Kalaripayattu and Kathakali as a basis for contemporary works. |

MARCH 17 – APRIL 3, 2024 PINO BASILE @ Havana (Cuba) A research residency in Cuba, during which the musician Pino Basile and the choreographer Roberto Olivan (Spain) as a tutor, along with the operator Lorenzo Pappagallo, worked together with dancers from the Asociación Hermanos Saíz for an exchange of creation and production practices. At the end of this period of work, a public presentation took place at Habana Espacios Creativos. |

SEPTEMBER 23 – OCTOBER 2, 2024 LIAN GUODONG, LEI YAN, PIERANDREA ROSATO, MICHELE SCAPPA, KATATONIC SILENTIO @ Florence (Italy) After the residency in China, the creation process of something not right continued in Florence where director-choreographer Lian Guodong and choreographer and dancer Lei Yan worked with dancers Pierandrea Rosato and Michele Scappa, sound artist Katatonic Silentio and dancers Gunika Aniwa and Lou Hio Mei. The residency took place at MAD Murate Art District (Sept 23-28), where on the 29th an Open Studio was held for spectators and professionals. From Sept 30 to Oct 1, the residency continued at PARC Performing Arts Research Centre and on Oct 2, something not right was presented to the public at Teatro Cantiere Florida as part of the Fabbrica Europa festival. |
